We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team. You'll be instrumental in translating trends into home textile designs, from concept to production, and play a key role in our continued success.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience designing home textiles (bedding, bath, window treatments, etc.).
- Be proficient in industry-standard Textile CAD software, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and PPT.
- Have a strong understanding of fabric weaving, printing techniques, production processes, and technical specifications.
- Possess an exceptional eye for color, with the ability to create harmonious palettes.
- Enjoys working in a collaborative environment with the design team.
Responsibilities:
- Create original art based on direction from customer projects and trends for market development.
- Ability to take direction well from customers and directors when creating designs for prints, jacquards, and woven.
- Take inspiration from samples and transform them into unique and marketable home textile designs.
- Effectively communicate and illustrate your design vision and collaborate with the Design and PD team.
- Prepare artwork for printing and develop detailed Tech Packs for all new designs, ensuring clear specifications for samples and production.
- Prepare color-correct printouts of art and trend boards for presentations.
- Collaborate with the overseas design team.
- Help with preparing the showroom for market week 2 times a year.
