Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support solutions that meet business needs and enhance processes using the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as future technologies.
- Champion the Microsoft Power Platform environment and provide training and support to citizen developer super-users that promotes and enables a self-service environment.
- Identify and urgently solve problems to support business processes, deployed solutions, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and meet the service level agreement goals.
- Develop and maintain both technical and user documentation for the ongoing support of applications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology including systems architecture, operations, and systems life cycle.
- Pursue continuous learning to develop and maintain Microsoft Power Platform expertise consistent with evolving job requirements, ongoing changes in technology, and changes in the organization.
- Operate within Arconic’s IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT standards. Ensure appropriate methodologies, support processes, and procedures are followed.
- Manage projects utilizing the project methodology to complete work on-time and on-cost.
Key Objectives
- Supervise one or more developers to implement and support Power Platform solutions.
- Establish and maintain a high level of stakeholder and super-user interaction to champion the Microsoft Power Platform tools and expand utilization at the location.
- As an internal consultant, engage with system users to understand the business processes and functional requirements of change requests and collaborate to identify gaps and define enhancements.
- Lead the discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks, in the work team, and with business users.
- Utilize the project management methodology to lead projects and execute the full systems lifecycle including define requirements, design solutions, develop, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs and enhance processes.
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to design end-to-end solutions that resolve issues, improve productivity, and support knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with management, business users, and other stakeholders to identify end-user requirements and specifications for application projects.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for automation, solution design, Business Intelligence (BI), and reporting solutions.
- Develop professional working relationships across all levels of the organization from shop-floor personnel to plant management and IT management.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Math, or related subject from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years’ working in a similar role in information systems / technology.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a position of leadership or influence (defined as supervising direct reports or being a project team lead)
- Minimum 5 years’ business systems analysis, software development, and support experience with a solid understanding of systems analysis, design, and programming techniques
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analytics with knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint workflow process, Microsoft Excel formulas, and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Experience with databases including Microsoft Dataverse, Oracle, SQL Server
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI data modeling including calculated columns, measures, and use of the Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) programming language
- Experience with database query tools including SQL (SQL Developer and/or SQL+)
- Experience/understanding in database development in creating complex database Queries, Views, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions
- Proficiency with SQL and database query tools (SQL Developer and/or SQL+)
- Project management experience in leading small to large projects, and demonstrated understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, critical thinking, with strong problem-solving skills.
