Our client in Somerset County, NJ is looking to hire a Commercial Leasing Assistant to support one of their Executive Vice Presidents. The Commercial Leasing Assistant provides administrative support to the Leasing Managers and assists in the leasing process for commercial properties. This role involves coordinating with potential tenants, preparing lease documents, managing property listings, and maintaining organized records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Coordination: Assist in responding to inquiries from potential tenants, scheduling property tours, and providing information about available properties.
- Lease Documentation: Prepare lease agreements, amendments, and other related documents. Ensure all documents are accurately completed and filed.
- Marketing Support: Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials for available properties. Update property listings on company websites and other platforms.
- Database Management: Maintain and update leasing databases and contact lists. Ensure accurate records of tenant information and lease details.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Leasing Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
- Property Inspections: Coordinate and occasionally conduct property inspections with potential tenants and contractors.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing reports related to leasing activity, market trends, and property performance.
- Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for current tenants, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in commercial real estate, leasing, or property management
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus
- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
Working Conditions:
