We are looking for a full time REMOTE Student Finance Advisor (Financial Aid Customer Service role) in the healthcare education field. This is an entry level role with training provided, but ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of call center experience, and interest in assisting others with school financial aid assistance.
Start Date: Monday, October 28, 2024
Paid Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm EST first 3 weeks - cannot have ANY planned time off all of October or November (exception of Thanksgiving holiday).
Shift after training: will be assigned consistent schedule after training, and shifts varies from Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST, plus 1 Saturday & Sunday shift per month. For example:
Monday – Friday:
- Two days: 9am-6pm EST
- One day: 10am-7pm EST
- One Day: 11am-8pm EST
- Friday: 8am-5pm EST
One weekend/month (Saturday & Sunday)
- Saturday 9am-6pm EST
- Sunday 12pm-7pm EST (Days off will be Friday & Monday when a weekend is worked).
Starting Pay: $18/hour + automatic annual raises

Location: Fully Remote/Virtual, but must reside in GEORGIA
Job Summary:
This is fully remote "call center" like job. The Remote Student Finance Advisor will help college students who have just gone through the admissions process through the FAFSA (Federal Student Aid) process and advisor on student loans. Inbound calls only, will be speaking to students once they have been transferred from the admissions department. Assists the Admissions Department by advising prospective students about the completion of the financial aid process so that the school can request disbursement of their funds.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to start October 28, 2024, be comfortable with the schedule listed above, and with $18/hour starting pay
- Must not have any planned time off for all first 4 weeks - all of October or November (exception of Thanksgiving holiday)
- 1-3 years of call center or similar over-the-phone customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic business technology and web-based tools.
- Must be a resident of Florida
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, and well as a FINANCIAL background check (must be in good financial standing with a clean financial history)
- Willingness to work in a high powered, dynamic, energetic call center-like environment
- Must be able to work independently from home with limited distractions or background noise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
