Summary
Build and assemble electrical control panels and provide other professional and technical expertise to support quality electrical integration, installation, test and debug of the company's robotic systems as well as being able to perform their duties to ensure that the project milestones are made on time and meet the customer's expectations.
Essential Functions
· Organize keep track of incoming electrical parts for in-house projects.
· Assemble/wire up electrical panels and subassemblies for in-house projects and route/terminate any/all required cabling for systems as well.
· Read and understand electrical schematics wiring and mark up changes if necessary.
· Be familiar with standard wiring practices.
· Help control costs associated with projects by completing assembly and installations on time and in budget.
· Assist with teardown and pack-up of systems when necessary.
· Provide inputs to Engineering, Manufacturing and Acieta Management as appropriate to inform them of findings that are significant to the design or for developing improved/new products or practices.
· Assist with installation of systems at end user. Overnight stay (week at a time) may be required.
· Effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and debug electrical wiring of robotic systems being assembled in-house or systems that are installed at the end user.
· Go out on service calls to end users for troubleshooting/repair (*/**).
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
· AS or BS degree in Industrial Technologies, Robotics, and/or Electrical Engineering.
· 3+ years working as a panel builder/electrical technician, preferably working for a robotic systems integrator.
· Experience with programming, servicing, and installing Fanuc robots or Fanuc certified service engineer a plus (i.e. Fanuc R-J3, R-J3iB, R-30iA, R-30iB and teach pendant programming)
· Electrical Experience to include: Panel building, electrical assembly, cable routing and termination; Electrical troubleshooting; Safety circuit design and risk assessment. Familiarity with NEC, NFPA79, UL508A, RIA 15.06 and other applicable electrical codes
· Experience in direct interfacing/communicating with customers.
· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
· Experience in part ordering – vendor relations.
· Knowledge with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe (AutoCAD Electrical is a plus).
Language Skills:
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
· Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Licenses and Other Requirements
· Ability to operate specific equipment or tools.
· Steel Toe safety boots required.
· Acieta internal Lock-Out/Tag-Out training.
· All other internal training required.
· Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.*
