REMOTE Employment Counsel
Salary: $140,000-$200,000
Company Summary: This nationally recognized organization is currently seeking an experienced labor and employment attorney to join their team. You will play a key role on their litigation team, helping key clients with nuanced legal issues. In addition, you will be able to contribute to a team that is consistently recognized in the legal industry as a leading and innovative organization.
The Remote Employment Counsel Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Handle administrative charges and draft demand letters, negotiating settlements and resolutions as appropriate.
- Manage single-plaintiff litigation cases, with the potential to engage in class action lawsuits and PAGA cases.
The Remote Employment Counsel Qualifications:
- 5-10 YOE in labor and employment, with a heavy focus on litigation.
- Must be barred in the state you reside.
- Prior law firm experience required.
