Job Overview:
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing key customer programs, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, translating their needs into actionable plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on project goals. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and customer-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Management: Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams. Understand customer requirements and ensure alignment with internal capabilities and production schedules.
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Technical Communication: Understand and effectively communicate technical aspects of semiconductor board manufacturing processes and capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project deliverables meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution. Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to customers and internal management. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, changes, and decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and product quality.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. A technical background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management within a semiconductor manufacturing or electronic board shop environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, PCB design, assembly, and testing. Ability to discuss technical details with engineering teams and customers.
- Customer-Facing Experience: Proven experience in managing customer relationships and expectations. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and address their needs.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion. Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve issues and deliver results.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
