Memorial area law firm seeking a highly skilled legal secretary. The candidate for this position will be successful if they are able to execute a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature. Position is for one of the name partners, a top attorney in the Houston area. Very heavy desk. Experience in commercial litigation is a plus. The candidate will have to have effective time managements and organizational skills coupled with the ability to be detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact/representative for clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Expert management of substantial document production.
- Good at catching errors and formatting.
- Some OT especially during trial
- Maintain and manage calendar. Schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, time recording and expense reimbursements
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Self-starter Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Prior Litigation Experience
