About Us: Jobreel is revolutionizing hiring with a video-based job platform. We’re a high-growth company dedicated to helping people get hired. We’re seeking a General Manager to spearhead growth in Connecticut.
Role Overview: As the General Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding Jobreel's presence across Connecticut. You will work directly with the CEO to shape and execute a sales strategy and go-to-market plan. This is a high-growth role offering equity, where you will leverage your experience to build and scale a marketplace.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies for business and job-seeker recruitment.
- Be scrappy to achieve goals with sales tactics and operational strategies:
- E.g. conduct door-to-door outreach to build a diverse network of businesses.
- E.g. Initiate and develop relationships with local universities, government organizations, and hiring agencies to grow the job seeker and business population.
- E.g. Organize and execute job fairs to connect businesses with job seekers and boost local engagement.
- Focus on building out the restaurant, retail, and service industries marketplaces in CT.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience selling directly to customers, building a sales pipeline, and executing.
- Experience in leadership roles, particularly in high-growth or startup environments.
- Degree in business or a related field. MBA is a plus, but not required.
- Expertise in streamlining operations and optimizing processes.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis to drive decisions and measure performance.

- Prior experience and passion for the hospitality industry is a plus!
