Site Superintendent - Construction

Focus:
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities on large-scale warehouse and distribution center projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain project timelines and efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues and maintain project progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Utilize construction management software and digital tools to streamline project tracking and communication.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices in warehouse and distribution center construction.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Construction, with a focus on large-scale warehouse and distribution center projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and regulatory requirements specific to warehouse and distribution center builds.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating various trades on large-scale projects.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling and ability to manage project timelines effectively.
- Familiarity with construction management software and digital tools used in project tracking and communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
