Centrally located small office with 15-20 professionals is in search of an Office Administrator. This specialized firm provides highly customized engineering services to clients across various sectors, including public and private clients.
Are you detail oriented with an exemplary work ethic? Do you have experience in overseeing administrative and non-technical operations? This is a leadership position and this individual will participate in key decisions for the firm. There is the opportunity to really make an impact! The right candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the practice, handling a wide range of tasks including HR, payroll, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, insurance, vendor selection and contract administration in addition to office management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related fields preferred
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience in office management or leadership level administrative roles, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
- Strong understanding of HR practices, payroll processing, billing, and accounts payable/receivable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
