firstPRO is looking for a highly skilled and driven Program Manager to lead and manage significant investments within a designated product portfolio. This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple related projects, ensuring their alignment with our organization’s strategic goals. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning, comprehensive program management, vendor coordination, and financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
- Lead a program consisting of multiple interconnected projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate daily activities to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
- Collaborate across functions to develop and implement program strategies that support product development.
Project Planning:
- Drive discovery and framing processes, including requirement gathering, business case development, and project charters.
- Partner with engineers, designers, researchers, and product owners to translate technical needs into actionable user stories and specifications.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, assess program strengths and weaknesses, and implement necessary changes.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations and reports to keep leadership informed of program progress.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the program budget, covering both CapEx and OpEx, ensuring proper allocation of financial resources.
- Handle vendor invoices, reconcile costs, and manage resource cost allocation within the program.
Vendor Management:
- Lead the vendor selection process for contract labor, consulting resources, and technical products/services.
- Oversee subscription services and manage resource onboarding and offboarding as program requirements evolve.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Certifications:
- Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional), Graduate Certificates in Project Management, or Agile Project Management Certifications.
Experience:
- 8+ years of direct project management experience, including at least 2 years in program management or senior-level project management.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs from start to finish.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Agile software development lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in financial program management, including CapEx and OpEx model development.
