About This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Center Category Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, operations and program management to develop and execute the strategy for our Data Center Commercial Category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market plans, including messaging, positioning, and sales enablement tools.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand use cases, and drive product improvements.
- Develop and communicate unique insights for improving customers' business outcomes
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Partner with cross functional teams to manage the data center product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demand.
- Work closely with program teams to prioritize, align and monitor product development.
- Support the sales team with product knowledge, training, and collateral development.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track product performance against goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
- 10+ years of work experience
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, sales, engineering or business management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, MBA
- Data Center industry experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across a broad audience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to detail.
- Project management skills and execution
- Ability to quickly adapt and adjust approach and solution to customer needs.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers through clear communication, active listening, and personalized solutions.
