Summary
The Customer Service Representative facilitates the receipt and processing of orders to generate revenue for Land O’Frost. This role will partner with brokers/buyers providing exceptional customer service regarding shipments/delivery, resolving disputes on customer invoices, and process daily orders to service our customers.
Responsibilities
- Process daily orders to drive the demand for the products to be produced and shipped.
- Process EDI orders received electronically
- Process manual orders received via email, fax or telephone.
- Provide brokers/buyers with information regarding shipments/delivery, late orders and/or delivery issues.
- Work with brokers/ sales on revising rushing orders.
- Inform brokers/buyers with any incorrect information that comes through electronically on PO’s and update IFS accordingly.
- Address emails from brokers/buyers regarding shipments and deliveries.
- Work with Account Receivable to resolves disputes on customer invoices.
- Review and process customer invoicing.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service preferred. Food industry experience a plus.
- Experience handling customer problems or needs from initial contact to resolution.
- Ability to research complex customer questions prior to responding.
- Ability to multitask with great deal of attention to detail switching priorities as needed.
- Proven strong interpersonal relations and communications.
- Experience with ERP systems, PX, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
