Job Title: Accounting/HR Manager
Location: Onsite (Industrial Machinery & Equipment Manufacturing Facility)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Open to Flexible Start and End Times)
This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated individual to manage both Accounting and HR functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Accounting/HR Manager Job Responsibilities:
Accounting
- Responsible for all monthly and year financial reporting insuring accuracy
- Oversees company’s bank accounts
- Reconciliations
- Assets
- Journal entries
- Handles all taxes, rent payments, loan payments, etc.
- Oversees all payroll functions and reports
- Direct liaison with CPA firm
Human Resources
- Maintains employee files & Job Boss profiles
- Hiring, firing and status change paperwork
- New employee orientation
- FMLA and Disability Paperwork
- Worker’s Compensation paperwork & filings
- Liaison with temporary agencies & paperwork management
- Employee related issues and documentation
- Apprenticeship paperwork
- Employee Handbook Maintenance
Insurance – Will take over effective 01/01/26
- Manage employee enrollments and all changes
- Maintenance and management of reports
- Manage & Reconciles all Insurance Related General Ledger Accounts
- Oversee claims and manage invoice payments
- Integral part of discussion and decision making at renewals
- Direct liaison with Insurance Advisor and all other insurance related individuals
- Transmits information on plan changes to employees
- Handles any issues with insurance plan members as they arise
Education: Associates or Bachelors (preferred)
