Join us as a Construction Project Manager, where you'll be at the helm of drywall, stucco, and stone projects from start to finish. Your role will involve orchestrating schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to top-notch standards. Collaboration is key, as you'll work with clients, subcontractors, and team members to bring project goals to fruition.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Manager, you'll:
- Lead drywall, stucco, and stone projects from inception to completion.
- Orchestrate schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to achieve project goals.
- Champion a safety culture, ensuring an injury-free environment through proactive oversight and personal commitment.
- Assess RFPs and contract documents to shape and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage project budgets, financial reporting, and forecasts, handling RFIs and change orders to ensure all work is properly contracted.
- Create and manage project schedules, analyze critical paths to ensure timely progress.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are efficiently mobilized and meet high-quality standards.
- Prepare detailed project reports, including WIP reports and cost forecasts, maintaining accurate records of progress and financials.
- Conduct on-site inspections, manage punch lists, and coordinate safety walks and quality control meetings.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members, oversee various project activities, and handle permits as required.
You'll need:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, especially in multi-family, commercial, or large campus projects.
- Preferred experience with drywall, stone, and stucco, and certifications such as OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and OSHA certifications is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
