The Data and Reporting Specialist plays a pivotal role in gathering, validating, analyzing, and reporting data across multiple teams to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. This position collaborates closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Management to design, build, and implement quality monitoring tools, inventory management systems, dashboards, and reports. The Specialist is also responsible for leading data-driven initiatives, overseeing report accuracy, and providing guidance to junior team members. A high degree of creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management & Analysis: Collect, develop, validate, and analyze data to support various teams. Lead the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and tools to monitor quality and manage inventory.
- Process Improvement: Drive the use of data analysis to identify trends, optimize processes, and implement innovative solutions across teams.
- Reporting Oversight: Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of performance and inventory reports. Provide coaching and guidance to improve team outcomes.
- Client Setup Support: Collaborate with the client setup team to utilize data for process improvements and ensure successful client onboarding.
- Strategic Direction: Work with management to set and implement strategic goals for the team. Facilitate meetings to discuss issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, Underwriting, and external vendors, to drive successful project outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring: Review and monitor performance data to identify challenges and opportunities. Ensure inventory management is handled accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in a business unit or equivalent external experience.
- Proven experience in project management, with a solid understanding of best practices and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to various stakeholders, including business systems analysts and management.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey business solutions.
- Proven ability to define business solutions, make informed decisions, identify problems, and implement changes effectively.
