About:
A premium international law firm are looking to onboard an Associate into their Project Finance practice group. The position will sit in their Chicago office location.
The role requires:
- A minimum of two years of project finance experience.
- Experience with project development and/or finance at a large national or international firm.
- Focus on finance and development, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and complex workouts and restructurings of infrastructure assets across the breadth of infrastructure sectors, including power, renewables, and sustainable development.
- Experience of lending transactions to act for lenders and borrowers.
- Intellectually outstanding with good team skills, natural collegiality, and a genuine desire and enthusiasm to embrace a broad range of financing work.
- Ability to problem solve, analyse problems and information, and evaluates options and risks to recognize the most appropriate solutions.
- Proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload, within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage smaller projects and exhibit strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong academic credentials and writing skills is imperative.
