This site 5 days a week onsite. We are looking for candidates with strong traditional enterprise networking backgrounds (configuration and lifecycle management of routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN, BGP, EIGRP, BFD, VPNs) as a baseline, with cloud networking and security experience also very important, especially as it pertains to on-premise/cloud hybrid environments. Strong experience with network and security design is as important as experience with operation & configuration, and the ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of virtualization and storage networking as well.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Wireless surveys with Ekahau Sidekick and diagnose issues
- Configure Cisco Wireless LAN controllers 5508 and Virtual Wireless controllers
- Configure Wireless network for remote offices utilizing Flex-Connect
- Troubleshoot LAN and Wireless issues
- Configure switches with 802.1x authentication utilizing Cisco ISE
- Host WebEx meetings to discuss project plans and implement plans as per schedule
- Analyze Network infrastructure (switches, routers, WLCs) for security threats and perform software upgrades to mitigate risks
- Configure and Update Home VPN routers with new certificates as they expire
- Open Cisco TAC cases for all issues
