- Transaction Support: Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and organizing documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and closing statements.
- Due Diligence: Conduct title searches, review title reports, and identify any issues that need to be addressed before closing. Coordinate with title companies and other third parties.
- Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and file legal documents such as deeds, mortgage agreements, and disclosures. Ensure all documents comply with legal requirements and client specifications.
- Closing Coordination: Schedule and coordinate closing meetings, prepare closing documents, and facilitate communication between all parties involved (buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, etc.).
- Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates on case status, answer questions, and request necessary documentation.
- Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage case calendars to ensure timely completion of tasks and compliance with court or regulatory requirements.
- Research and Analysis: Perform legal research and analysis on various real estate matters, including zoning laws, property regulations, and market conditions.
- Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Ensure all records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
