Job Title: Multimedia Designer
Location: Avon, MN | hybrid 3 days in office
Contract Duration: 5 months with potential for hire
Pay: $33 - $36 per hour depending on experience | W2 + benefits
As a member of the Corporate Communications creative team, the Multimedia Designer supports multimedia content creation through various mediums, including photo, video, animation and graphic design, among others. This role contributes to advancing creative processes and driving the creative aspects of projects across a diverse range of domains.
What you’ll do:
- Participate in driving the creative workflow, content creation, and production of final assets alongside other creative team members and project stakeholders
- Contribute to the conceptualization, storyboarding, planning, coordinating, editing and final delivery of multimedia content
- Collaborate with various teams to brainstorm and develop creative content that resonates with target audiences and adheres to brand standards, messaging and guidelines
- Inspire innovation, imagination and originality when it comes to approaches for filming, video editing, and graphics
- Assist with the content review process across all forms of multimedia content
- Support the management of deliverables, timelines and budgets – ensuring consistent delivery within scope
- Assist in managing the internal A/V room, including assisting with setting up equipment and managing inventory
- Responsible for new hire headshots including shooting, editing and delivery and archival
- Create thumbnails, edits photos for uploads, selects music and sound effects from approved sources, and prepares media files to be shared across multiple platforms
- Maintain and handle files in post-production workflow, understanding file formats and archival best practices
What you’ll bring to the Multimedia Designer role:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, cinematography, photography, graphic design, marketing, or closely related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience working in video production, photography, graphic design and content creation required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Creative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to assist in directing talent and orchestrating photo/video shoots
- Knowledge and experience working in Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency in the full Creative Suite (After Knowledge of Effects, Final Cut, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) along with media conversion software
- Proficient knowledge of design elements and principles
- Self-driven team player with a commitment to excellence
- Knowledgeable in sourcing stock images, sound and video footage
- Occasional travel may be necessary
- Experience with virtual reality and a drone pilot license are preferred
