Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience, to join the team at one of the fastest-growing law firms in Atlanta!
The firm represents businesses of all types, both nationally and regionally. The team regularly handles complex and challenging cases, and they are proud to represent clients in federal and state courts across the country!
This is a hybrid position with 4 days in the Atlanta, GA office and 1 day working remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate on a broad range of civil litigation, such as construction, transportation, aviation, premises liability, insurance defense, product defect, subrogation, and other tort claims
- Prepare for trial from the outset of a case through completion
- Defense of first party insurance cases, primarily representing insurance companies
- Draft pleadings, respond to and issue discovery, draft motions and supporting memoranda.
- Conduct legal research
- Take and defend depositions
- Defend first party insurance cases, primarily representing insurance companies
- Negotiate settlements informally and at mediations and settlement conferences
- Draft appellate motions and briefs
- Take and defend depositions,
- Interact with clients on a daily basis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member of Georgia bar or eligible for Georgia bar membership
- Admission to federal district courts in Georgia
- JD from accredited law school
- At least 2 years of litigation experience
