What's needed for this role?
- Reviews, updates, and collects data about job duties for the preparation and update of job descriptions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting candidates, offer letters, reference, and background checks.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including insurance (medical, dental, etc.), retirement plans, leave policies, FSA, 401(k), and workers compensation.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide ongoing support and education about benefit options.
- Liaise and assist HR Director with benefits vendors on review\renewal of all benefit plans. Proactively resolve any issues that arise.
- Assist with LOA admin & requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system (Paylocity) ensuring full integration of HR processes.
- Generate HR reports and metrics for data management and reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and HR best practices.
- Serves as subject matter expert on Paylocity capabilities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals.
- Track employee performance and development plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities and monitor training effectiveness.
- Promote continuous learning and skill enhancement among staff.
- Support HR Director in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support with updating HR policies and procedures as needed to reflect current legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field with equivalent years of experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
