IT Support Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively demonstrate engagement and assuming responsibility for exemplifying our vision and core values.
- Maintain the highest standards of conduct and integrity in all dealings with or on behalf of the company at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of services and data storage systems.
- Remediate issues affecting security and compliance through configuration management, patching, updating, and documentation.
- Assists with and/or leads assigned system and service implementations and upgrade / refresh projects.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Evaluate technology products and services as assigned.
- Maintain and enhance IT documentation library, record activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft environment (Windows/Office)
- Customer service experience
- Help Desk Experience
- IT Technical support experience
- Desktops
- Peripherals
- Accessories
- Networking (basic)
- Technical certifications
- Networking & Cybersecurity
- Good communicator
- Organized

- Friendly and knowledgeable
- Comfortable with in-person, calls and other communication channels.
- Reliable transportation
Experience and Education:
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with help desk support, administration experience, and the following areas is a plus:
o IT case management
o IT documentation development and management
o Supporting users in a business environment; including, but not limited to common applications, networking, and local peripherals.
o Exposure to VOIP/telephony systems, especially Microsoft Teams
Physical Demands:
Must be able to accomplish physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear effectively. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Working Environment:
Work is generally performed on-site at the corporate office and the work environment is often
quiet. When working out at a power plant or data center, the work environment and noise levels could change due to weather and working conditions at any time.
