Anesthesiologist Locums Job in New York
Dates of Coverage: starting ASAP and ongoing (2+ weeks per month required, three months to credential)
Details of Assignment
New York medical license is required
Monday Friday, 7AM 3:30PM
Limited beeper call. Ideally - 10 evenings a month 3:30PM 9:00PM and one weekend per month 7AM 9PM. No overnight call.
Must be proficient with regional anesthesia for post-operative pain. Regional all done by anesthesiologist.
Must do Nerve Blocks and Peds
One anesthesiologist in room, the other directing, doing breaks and blocks. Always one anesthesiologist out of the OR and available.
Mix of solo cases and CRNA medical direction
No OB or Cardiac cases
Case mix: mostly general and orthopedic, peds, urology, ophthalmology, and gynecology
EMR is EPIC
