Job Description About the role: The Associate Director - IT Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and managing all services that enable applications and operations at the shopfloor level of manufacturing production lines. This role involves establishing strategic direction and creating roadmaps to align with organizational goals. Additionally, the Chapter Lead will guide and support a team consisting of Chapter Category Leads, Site Engineers, and Champions, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of critical infrastructure services across the production environment. This leadership position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to drive efficiency, innovation, and alignment with business objectives.
How you will contribute: For Critical Infrastructure Service Chapter of Shop Floor Services:
Own and lead the support organization for the CIM chapter OT Shopfloor.
Build up the Chapter to act as a Competency and Delivery organization.
Support the CIM organization by overseeing the operational efforts.
Develop, own, and maintain Critical Infrastructure service roadmap according to Chapter.
Provide direction to Takeda's manufacturing sites and CIM Site Champions on Critical Infrastructure Service deployments to be in line with Takeda's standards in a harmonized way.
Strive for the transformation to Takeda's standards and harmonized technology stack.
Ensure awareness to Critical Infrastructure Management teams of relevant Critical Infrastructure capability activities and/or decisions made at global governance level.
Ensures the improvement and adoption of the CIM Service Catalog according to Chapter.
Translate Takeda's Manufacturing & Quality business demands to Critical Infrastructure standards & pipeline of the chapter scope by, among other things, ensuring local business project portfolio are respected in Chapter strategy.
Connect with Chapter CIM Category Leads and Regional/Site Champions to assure services are fit for business and purpose.
Oversee, guide, and track capacity as well as service assessments, incl. life cycle.
Provide input to budget planning and support the tracking of spending.
Develop the functional Critical Infrastructure Management teams in their required skill profiles.
Act as escalation point for the CIM Chapter scope.
What you bring to Takeda:
Proven knowledge of ShopFloor OT technologies, especially in the field of OT production and laboratory environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with focus manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
8 - 10 years' experience in IT
Background in IT Service Management, Service Delivery, or Business Partnering
IT/OT experience in providing services to a Manufacturing and/or Laboratory environment, ideally 3 - 5 years' experience in OT domain, and knowledge about Industrial Control Systems
Experience running IT projects in a regional and as needed a global environment.
Experience leading/managing teams working in a manufacturing and/or lab environment.
Certifications preferred (such as ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, ).
Ability to read and speak in English language fluently.
Ability to fly to meetings regionally and globally on occasion.
