Technical Director-General Liability
JCW is currently working with a specialty insurance company that has recently been growing their claims department in various lines. As a technical director you will play a key role in the claims department providing technical expertise in assisting with larger and more complex general liability claims.
Responsibilities
- Partner with claims professionals and their managers in providing technical insights and oversight
- Act as a coverage resource for the {property and Casualty claims team
- Drive technical excellence through mentoring, training, and assisting in the creation of technical guidelines
Requirements
- 10+ years of general liability insurance experience
- Deep technical expertise in all aspects of commercial general liability claims from reserving to resolution.
- Experience handling complex/highly severity claims
- JD degree strongly preferred
