The Event Coordinator will support the global broadcast and events team with projects that impact the strategic direction of USPA Global Licensing. Project scope includes administrative and inventory-based work that supports global events, as well as other projects that support the goals of U.S. Polo Assn. This role reports directly to the Marketing Partnership Manager.
Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of polo events and polo club partnerships with creation of meeting agendas, meeting invites, meeting recaps, and keeping the team on task with event items.
- Support the annual college program including managing program deliverables, as well as shipping and inventory tracking in partnership with the Sr. Events Coordinator.
- Support apparel/gifting closet with inventory tracking, management and shipping as needed.
- Support the updating and routing of both the events calendar and the broadcast calendar.
- Support with apparel inventory, inventory stocking and labeling at off-site warehouse. Additionally, support polo player event kits that include apparel.
- Support shipping process with consistent and accurate information, aiming to reduce costs and challenges.
- Support uploading documents and approved items to Brand Comply (our system of record) for approval purposes.
- Support media team with labeling and organizing photos and uploading to Asset bank for future use.
- On an as needed basis, support U.S. Polo Assn. or USPA Pro or any other brand with on-site tradeshow or event activations, such as retail shops.
- Invoicing as required.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in either Marketing or sports marketing
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sports at either a sports league or an agency/company that manages events or sponsorship marketing.
- Must have a good attitude and be willing to learn quickly.
- Must be organized and adaptable.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email, as well as accomplish tasks independently.
- Basic understanding of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and fast learner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
