As a CDL Driver, you will be a pivotal part of our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of Agricultural equipment. This role requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and expertise in handling agricultural machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
*Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, for the transportation of agricultural equipment.
*Load, secure, and unload various types of agricultural machinery, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
*Safely transport farm equipment that may be 14ft-20ft wide and at times up to 120ft long.
*Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
*Coordinate with farm and field personnel to plan logistics for equipment transport.
*Maintain accurate records of equipment movements, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance performed.
*Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing transportation and equipment handling.
Requirements:
*Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A with air brake endorsement).
*Clean driving record with no major violations within the past 5 years.
*Proven experience in operating and transporting agricultural equipment.
*In-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery and their safe handling procedures.
*Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*Physical capability to load and unload agricultural equipment, often in various weather conditions.
*Physical ability to lift 75lbs.
