Position Summary: The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to clients during the installation and commissioning of new control systems, as well as maintenance and upgrade of existing control systems.
Must haves:
- 1-5 years in dealing with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems (both hardware and software)
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
- Hands on familiarity with power generation plants, facilities, and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to interact and speak with clients on a regular basis.
- Ability to travel to domestic and international client sites up to 80% of the time.
Plusses:
- Experience with Siemens PLC platforms
- Prior military experience (specifically controls systems maintenance experience for ships/submarines)
