We are searching for an Automation Technician to join our client’s growing team.
Basic Duties:
- Designing, programming, building and commissioning control systems for new and existing manufacturing equipment
- Process control systems, Process control Network, and the interface between the process and business systems
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts through programming and physical modifications to increase reliability and productivity
- Troubleshooting control systems
- Programming PLC’s
- Developing electrical controls and operating procedures
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Automation/Controls Engineer
- 5+ years of direct experience with Electrical, Instrumentation, & Control systems within a manufacturing/operations environment
- Industrial process automation networking experience (Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with and knowledgeable in Siemens or Allen Bradley
- Experience with and knowledgeable in Wonderware
- Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Controls
