SAP APO Analyst (Contract to Hire)

About the Role:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled SAP APO Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting and optimizing their SAP APO environment, with a focus on Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP APO professional to contribute to critical supply chain planning processes, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the client's manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and support in SAP APO modules, specifically Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
- Work closely with business users to understand and translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Configure and optimize APO modules to meet business needs, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC and other systems.
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, production, and IT, to implement and support APO processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the APO modules, providing ongoing support and maintenance.
- Develop and deliver training to end-users and create documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP APO, with a strong focus on DP, SNP, and PP/DS modules.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of APO configuration, process design, and integration with SAP ECC.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Critical Requirements (No Exceptions):
