Summary:
• Under the direction of the Lead of Global Medical Proficiencies & External Affairs (GMPEA) Grant Operations, contractor is responsible for developing new processes, as well as optimizing and improving existing internal processes to increase efficiency and productivity within our organization.
• The candidate will be expected to have a strong background in both process and project management, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and drive successful project outcomes.
• New strategies and processes will be developed as we expand our capabilities and engagements with our Professional Medical Societies, as well as develop capabilities around Healthcare Quality Implementation Science.
• Optimization of existing capabilities in our Independent Medical Education grants process.
Qualifications:
Education and required experience:
• Bachelor’s degree/Master's degree in health sciences or healthcare or life science, business or related field with 4years of relevant experience within Medical Affair Project management/Process management, or Healthcare Quality Improvement.
• Advance degree(Pharm-D, PHD,MD) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience within Medical Affair Project management/Process management, or Healthcare Quality Improvement.
• Proven experience in both process and project management, with a track record of successful process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of process mapping, process optimization, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
Software:
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Loop, Monday, or other relevant software.
Personality:
• Team player, collaborative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and drive solutions.
Note:
• 12 months assignment with possibility of extension based on performance and budget.
• Hybrid(3 days in the office- Tues/wed and Thursday-report onsite, however there may be some flexibility that can be discussed while on assignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Oversee the development of new processes relative to our engagement with Professional Medical Societies, as well as new capabilities with Healthcare Quality Implementation Sciences.
• Oversee process improvement in the Independent Medical Education grants process, including conducting thorough process analysis and identifying areas for improvement.
• Lead project management efforts to ensure successful execution of process improvement initiatives, including timeline management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, identify process pain points, and develop solutions to streamline operations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant project management artifacts.
