Role: Desktop Technician (ITAM - MUST)
Location (Onsite): Olathe, Kansas
Deskside Management, ITAM, Touch Support, Local IT, Imaging, O365 Support, Investigate and troubleshoot software and desktop issues.
Desktop Management:
Provided all desktop, laptop, printer, and proprietary software support and administrative functions to support desktop user issues.
Remote support & troubleshooting of end user issues
Windows OS, MacBook support
Zscaler troubleshooting
Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and support desktop systems based on customer service requests1.
Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid system failures1.
Set user access rights and permissions, and create VPN accounts for users1.
Maintain servers, computers, printers, and other software and hardware peripherals1.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop-related issues2.
IT Asset Management:
Maintain and regularly update the company’s hardware and software inventory3.
Evaluate asset requirements and coordinate their acquisition3.
Develop and implement policies for the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets4.
Track assets throughout their lifecycle and ensure compliance with organizational policies4.
Manage databases and records of licenses, service agreements, and warranties4.
Conduct regular audits to ensure asset compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize asset management processes
