About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our engineering efforts at Affinity Modular. In this role, you will oversee engineering projects specific to modular construction, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will manage a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with other departments to drive the success of our modular construction initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage modular construction engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Drive the development and implementation of innovative modular construction technologies and processes to enhance product performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure that modular construction projects meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with other departments, including manufacturing, design, and R&D, to align engineering efforts with company goals and customer needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize modular construction workflows and project outcomes.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, engineering performance, and potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with a proven track record of managing modular construction projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of modular construction principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, and team-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and use Revit or equivalent 3D software tools.
