Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer
Location-Type: Pittsburg PA - Onsite 5 days/week for first 6 months, then potential to be hybrid 2 days/week remote

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
Compensation Range: $38-45/hr W2
Role Overview:
The Senior Network Engineer at the client will provide technical expertise, strategic planning, and implementation of network and telecommunication solutions. This role is critical in designing, building, and maintaining the client's IT infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure network operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 3 network and telecommunication support to the client's campus.
- Design and build network technologies and architectures to meet infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop and implement new network solutions.
- Ensure network infrastructure is documented and performs to internal and customer SLA standards.
- Participate in strategic and long-term planning for network and telecommunication services.
Experience:
10+ years in Network and Telecommunication as a Network Engineer or Administrator.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (experience may substitute for education).
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP services, and network design principles. Proficiency in complex network analysis and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple initiatives under pressure.
- Certifications: Valid Driver's License; Network and Telecommunication certifications preferred.
- Certifications: Advanced certifications in network technologies, wireless systems, or project management.
