Network Engineer
Responsibilities
· Reviews proposed designs and architectures, identifying risks and providing remediation recommendations in line with established standards and the enterprise’s overall architecture.
· Deploys and maintains hyperconverged systems and solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
· SME for regional network engineering team to ensure reliability, performance, Cybersecurity.
· Work with operations delivery management to ensure proper mapping of systems to services monitoring
· Manages and supports Windows, Linux, AWS, & VMware infrastructure.
· Administers and supports the backup and recovery infrastructure.
· Administers and manages database systems ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
· Develops support plan with key IT stakeholders.
· Manages services, incidents, and changes through request ticket management.
· Provides on-call and after-hours support to address incidents, maintain infrastructure, and support operational efforts.
Skills
· 5+ years of Information Technology experience (Required).
· 5+ years o Network Technology experience (Required).
· Network or Cyber Security Certification Preferred
· STRONG Wireless, SD WAN and Firewalls experience
· 2+ years of public and private cloud engineering experience (Required).
· Strong experience with Linux and AWS (Required).
· Database Mgt. Experience is a Huge Bonus
· Solid understanding of information systems infrastructure and application capabilities.
· Ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems.
· Ability to communicate with internal and external constituents.
· Demonstrated customer service skills..
· Experience collaboratively analyzing requirements, designing, and implementing technical solutions across both private and public cloud technology spectrums.
· Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure involving significant differences in technologies, techniques, procedures, environmental factors, physical demands, or work situations.
