Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Coordinator position will manage small project teams, overseeing planning, scheduling, and execution. This role requires detailed expertise in project aspects, staying current with industry advancements, and recommending efficiency improvements. Additionally, this Coordinator will develop budgetary estimates to support project planning. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $31.82 - $47.73

Responsibilities:
- Manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
- Oversee all aspects of project implementation, including budget development, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and execution, including resolving schedule delays and conflicts.
- Develop and track project budgets, monitor cost versus budget, and interface regularly with clients, engineers, and management to ensure proper progress and focus.
- Develop and manage contracts, interface with vendors, and prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management.
- Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects and support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
- Provide outage support, including support for the Operations Control Center (OCC).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and 1 year of experience in a technical field
- OR associate’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university and 3 years’ experience in a technical field
- OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a technical field
- PMP desired
- Commercial Nuclear Experience Required
- Construction Management Certification
- Basic project management techniques. Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution.
- Basic use of computer software tools (MS Office)
- Familiar with error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies, managing projects, on-line work management, refueling and forced outage management related activities, engineering, or standard project management techniques.
