Locus is seeking a superstar Construction Superintendent that rises to the top and, leads by example. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in light industrial ground up projects with 3+ of tilt wall construction. The candidate will be responsible for the overall construction of the projects assigned, includes developing subcontractor relationships, adhering to budgets, maintaining a safe jobsite, setting and meeting schedule deadlines, and documenting production. Candidate must be comfortable with being on site for the duration of each project. Projects are typically 10-14 months in length and located in various Texas markets. Candidate is expected to be open to all project locations within Texas.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct daily construction activities
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors to meet project deadlines
- Maintain OSHA regulations and keep project safety as top priority
- Review the work progress and prepare reports on daily and weekly basis
- Operate drone and take extensive project photographs to document progress
- Schedule and coordinate all inspections with AHJ’s
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in construction management with commercial general contractor
- Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process and various scopes
- Great people skills and a positive attitude will also be an attribute of the perfect candidate
- Must be highly organized and efficient
- Attention to detail and a self-starter will be a requirement
- Leadership and management skills
- Excellent time and site management skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Cloud based software experience required
- OSHA Trained, required
- Must be willing to travel, work after hours, and nights/weekends
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years Construction Superintendent experience with General Contractor (3+ tilt wall)
