The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years leading complex IT systems development or implementation projects, 3+ years with SAP System Architect and SAP Software Solutions, and 3+ years with SAP Data Mapping.
The candidate will maintain responsibility for planning, executing, and delivering Human Resource projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
The Program Manager (SAP) will be tasked to:
- Lead and oversee a critical Human Resources project within our organization
- Manage the state government's workforce efficiently and effectively, ensuring that employees are supported, engaged, and able to contribute to the delivery of essential services to the residents of Pennsylvania
- Maintain responsibility for planning, executing, and delivering Human Resource projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of SAP
- Maintain responsibility for aligning business objectives with technical solutions while overseeing the entire project lifecycle
- Possess a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills to lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, roadmap, resources, and deliverables
- Coordinate project activities, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress against established goals
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple agencies and cross-functional teams to develop and refine the current state model and define the transition to the future state model
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Prepare and present regular status reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and communicating milestones and challenges
- Solicit feedback and input from stakeholders to inform project decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project sponsors, end-users, and technical teams
- Be organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Manage complex IT projects, preferably with experience in SAP reporting solutions
- Understand of SAP system architecture and relevant SAP software solutions, such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP SuccessFactors
- Create detailed project plans, set milestones, and manage schedules effectively
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and requirements gathering
