About the role: The Repair Technician I is an advanced level position in our audio-visual equipment warehouse. This position includes leading others within your department and prioritizing equipment testing, cleaning, and programming as directed. This requires a strong understanding of equipment functionalities, uses, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues, as well as instruct others when required. Warehouse organization and loading and unloading equipment as needed. This also requires task completion within the computer-based inventory program, Rental Works.
This position reports to the Director of Operations and supports the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems
- Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
- Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors
- Continuous training on new products
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Equipment Maintenance, Mechanical aptitude and willingness to expand current knowledge base, Adhering to Standards, Inventory Organization, Technical Capabilities with audio visual equipment, Ability to direct productivity and manage employee expectations for a healthy work environment, Interest in Entertainment Production
Education and Experience:
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse
