Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Multifamily Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of our multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record in multifamily construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multifamily construction projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure all construction work meets the company's quality standards and adheres to architectural and engineering specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all site personnel. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs. Approve purchase orders, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Provide regular updates and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders. Ensure all records are up-to-date and organized.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically in multifamily residential projects or student housing.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- OSHA certification and a strong commitment to job site safety.
- MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE & TRAVEL
