Pacific Lift and Equipment Company, Inc. is an equipment contractor specializing in automotive service repair equipment in car dealership service departments. We have been around since 1953 and currently have an office in Pasadena CA and Sacramento CA.
Pacific Lift is looking for a reliable and hardworking Equipment Installation Helper to join our Installation department. We are looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail while performing a wide range of equipment installations and construction duties. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn and grow in the industry. This position requires a candidate with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in building maintenance and/or construction. You should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a must.
As an install apprentice/helper you will be teamed up with a lead installer who will teach and guide you how to install automotive equipment such as hoists, work benches, overhead lubrication systems, air compressors, oil storage tanks, exhaust systems and much more at existing car dealerships and new construction car dealerships. You will learn to cut steel, thread galvanized pipe, and work with power tools. Your lead-man will teach and guide you to progress to hopefully be a lead-man yourself.

Responsibilities:
· Installation of vehicle lifts, air compressors, work benches, air lines, cut/build brackets, hydraulic pumps, etc.
· Communicate with customers and manufacturer tech support
· Drive company equipment including forklift, and scissor lift
· Valid driver’s license and clean record a required
· Occasional out of town work
· Provide good customer service
· Must interact with customer in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
· Some mechanical ability
· Familiarity with safe working practices
