Engineering Program Manager (12 month contract // Minneapolis, MN):
Hybrid, will want in office 3 days / week but can be flexible on specific dates and times
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supporting multiple programs and leading workstreams to achieve project milestones on-time/on-budget
- Working within a matrixed organization and multiple functions while executing per our QMS
- Resolving day to day issues (resourcing, technical, etc.)
Target Years of Experience:
- 7-10+ years of project/program management with medium to large scale programs
Duties:
- Oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products.
- Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 7-10 years of program management experience, or advanced degree/PMP with a minimum of 5-7+ years prior management experience.
Preferred experience:
- 10+ years of project/program management with medium to large programs
- Experience with Class III devices is strongly preferred
