Are you a Senior IT Leader with an IT operations background in a manufacturing industry? We have a unique opportunity to lead an IT organization for a growing industrial contract manufacturing company. Success in this role will require experience with a variety of IT functions to include IT Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Transformation in an industrial manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have progressed their career in IT and approach IT with an FP&A mindset.
In this role you will serve as a key member of the executive team providing advice on a wide range of strategic, tactical, and operational issues. You will be responsible for establishing and executing an IT strategy and provide overall vision, strategic direction and tactical delivery of all information technology systems and solutions to support the organization.
You will partner with the business to identify changes and trends in technology and provide cogent interpretation to senior leadership. In short, the VP of IT will provide thought leadership, influence, and hands-on engagement to direct, develop, and implement a long-term strategic IT plan.
The VP IT will be involved in the transformation towards a high-performance operating model that leverages common platforms, procedures, and best-in-class processes to support the company. You will partner with peer business leaders to oversee the delivery of services with partners and contractors. A key aspect of this position will be augmenting and developing the talent caliber of the IT organization through training, mentorship, and actively rewarding and recognizing individual staff.
