Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of avionics systems.
- Drive rapid development cycles to ensure hardware reaches orbit on tight schedules.
- Mentor and support the Avionics engineering team, promoting technical ownership and high-quality results.
- Design avionics systems that align with mission objectives, delivering new capabilities for space operations.
- Collaborate with teams to interpret customer requirements and integrate them into vehicle and architecture designs.
- Develop and execute test plans in line with mission risk assessments and lead test campaigns.
- Conduct design, test readiness, and flight readiness reviews, with a focus on technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience designing complex electrical or control systems for harsh environments (e.g., spacecraft, autonomous vehicles, drones).
- Proven ability to adapt and respond to evolving project needs.
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, innovative technical solutions.
