Software Engineer

A global leader in mobility solutions is seeking Software Engineers to join the teams responsible for creating and maintaining web applications that provide deep insights from manufacturing data in order to make higher-quality products for customers. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop data-driven web application features and monitoring applications to drive business insights.
- Participate in pair programming and code review sessions to drive continuous improvements and a deeper understanding of application functionality.
- Follow Test Driven Development principles, write and execute unit test cases, and reduce bugs and errors.
- Create dashboards, modernize legacy systems, and update services to allow for better decision-making.
Required skills and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar relevant technical degree.
- 1+ year of object-oriented programming or scripting experience, preferably using Java or Python.
- Frontend development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one library (Angular or React preferred).
- Significant knowledge, or working experience, navigating and working in SQL, Oracle, or non-relational databases (MongoDB or PostgreSQL preferred).
