General Job Description
The Customer Training Project Manager will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring project team schedules to ensure that implementations are staffed and completed on time. This role requires a deep understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate with customer and Gardian stakeholders. The CTTPM will work closely with team members and customers to develop detailed staffing and supply plans. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex schedules in a fast-paced environment and will be adept at using communications software and tools (Slack and MS Office). This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think critically and solve problems. Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project and schedule plans with resource allocation
- Communicate directly with the customer and the Gardian team for scheduling and support needs
- Identify scheduling conflicts and develop mitigation solutions
- Ensure project materials are on site as needed
- Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet the objectives
- Facilitate regular team meetings to track progress, address any issues, and to build camaraderie amongst the team
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the National Account Manager and the Training Team
- Prepare and present reports to management including results of customer implementations, exception reporting and other reports as necessary
- Communicate directly with the customer via Slack
- Ensure all goals of customer implementations are met to the required quality standards
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Five years of experience in a role with significant project management / scheduling responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated bias for action
- Ability to work in an environment that is rapidly changing, where processes and procedures are in development
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Knowledge of Slack a plus
- Strong ability with MS Excel and/or project management software
- Highest degree of integrity and character who takes ownership of responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret business and technical documents.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Must be able to work independently
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The position is based in our Plano, TX corporate headquarters and will require some travel
Required travel will be in ambient warehouse environments interacting with associates. You will encounter warehouse conditions that are not room temperature.
Communications will take place at various time zones and schedule needs may require adjusted hours of work
