Leasing Agent
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Overview:
The Leasing Agent will be responsible for managing the leasing process at this residential property in San Francisco. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Leasing Agent will contact applicants, conduct intake interviews, and prepare MI files for review.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Applicant Engagement:
- Contact applicants to schedule and conduct intake interviews.
- Provide tours of available units to prospective tenants.
- Accept and review rental applications, ensuring completeness and legibility.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist the Community Manager and/or Leasing Director with marketing efforts, including mailing materials and tracking responses.
- Enter pre-applications into the waitlist software system.
- Initiate and track calls to applicants on the waitlist for vacant units.
- Support the Community Manager with certification appointment scheduling and data collection for applicant processing.
- Initiate background screening and approval processes for applicants.
- Resident and Property Management:
- Answer phones and greet applicants, residents, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain the Work Order Logbook, including receiving and completing resident work orders.
- Collect rent payments and security deposits under the supervision of the Community Manager.
- Prepare and deliver general notices for the Community Manager as needed.
- Store all relevant documentation in resident files.
- Community Coordination:
- Coordinate resident social functions and communication efforts.
- Physical Requirements:
- Constant desk-based computer tasks with frequent sitting.
- Occasional standing, walking, reaching, grasping, and lifting/carrying objects up to 15 pounds.
- Rarely required to twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, or crawl.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional duties as required by the Community Manager or Leasing Director.
