Purpose:
At DASI, the role of the Rotable Pricing Analyst is critical to ensure that DASI is producing the best value from its inventory. Optimizing revenue and pricing models for DASI’s inventory is a key role within the Purchasing Department and data gathered by the Pricing Analyst is essential for its function. This position will report directly to the Rotable Pricing Manager.
Key accountabilities:
• Daily pricing activity, including conducting market and price research related to inquiries from the Sales Department and coordination of pricing requests/RFPs.
• Conduct efficient market data gathering activities including successful collection of phone and email quotations.
• Review and adjust pricing for old/slow moving inventory.
• Effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete inquiries related to pricing and management of inventory.
• Actively participate in process improvements by utilizing the DASI quality system.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Key skills and competences:
• Experience analysing sales and pricing of rotable aircraft parts.
• Technical knowledge relative to aviation/aircraft maintenance.
• Extensive spreadsheet and database skills.
• Exhibits attention to detail and manages time effectively.
• Self-directed, can maintain full time hourly schedule.
Experience and qualifications:
• Experience in Rotable aircraft part sales or procurement function.
• Technical knowledge relative to aviation/aircraft maintenance and reading technical documents (IPCs, SBs, Ads, EOs, Trace Docs).
• Knowledge of Inventory Locator Service (ILS) including familiarity with/recall of vendor/sources on ILS and other industry supply resources.
• High School diploma required. In-progress college education preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel is required.
• Experience with data entry and data reporting in a complex environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and Skills using logic to solve problems and arrive at solutions.
